Reviews
Very interesting givint the space space exposition plus Damien Ortega temporary exhibition. They give away a prize of 100k for creating a exposition worth 80k and 20k remains for the artist. Will return at the vernisage. People usually confuse it with the bar at the other corner of the builduing, Kraftwerk. Museum has a small, but cozy coffee shop. Nice wardrobe and storage available.
Costed 18 CHF. Step into a world where art and design intertwine seamlessly, sparking creativity at every turn. The museum unveils captivating pieces that not only showcase constructive brilliance but also invite you to reconsider your perspective on the world. Head up like 3-4 floors, and you'll find different exhibitors doing their thing. It's a trip that'll have you thinking about things in a whole new way.
This museum should be on every visitor's must-see list; the two permanent exhibits (the Franz Glarner Rockefeller dining room and the Marguerite Hersberger "Giving the Space Space" exhibit) are sublime, and will help you understand the importance of the constructivist-concrete art movement.
Most exhibits were like all the super modern paintings that in my opinion are just stupid! But that's just me. There are some exceptions, though.
If you like concrete art this place is for you!
Exhibition after exhibition I always enjoy discovering new artists from all over the world.
The place is presented on several levels, with an architecture which corresponds to it. A café is also present with a work of Claudia Comte as decoration.
An artistic place not to be missed in Zurich.
Museum Haus Konstruktiv is a one of a kind museum in Zurich. They host permanent installations and rotating exhibitions which are always interesting, thought-provoking, and well curated. The gift shop offers a variety of high-quality items, while the cafe is the perfect place to have a coffee or something more savory after a long day of exploring art.
A small size museum packed with interesting installations and contemporary art exhibitions. It doesn't take more than an hour to skim through the 5-floor-building. If you are a Zurich city card holder and have limited time, I'd recommend it.
There is no shortage of culture to soak up in Zurich. Today I gained some inspiration from the current exhibitions. Amazing variety of teas and delightful cakes in the cafe by the entrance. A splendid outing.
